Although Dublin has in recent years become dreadfully crowded and overdeveloped there are still many areas of Ireland where the older simpler ways of life remain. One of the best of these and my personal favourite is the south west area around Dingle. The wild Atlantic shores have an edge-of-the-world feeling that I adore.
